Our London Studio

Dance Essence is located at 2 Langarth St. W., London. It is a 6000 square foot space consisting of three dance studios.
There are boys and girls change rooms, office, kitchen area, staff room, costume storage room and parent/student waiting areas. We want our dancers and parents to feel comfortable while waiting for class to begin or end.

Dance Floor

Dance involves a tremendous amount of jumping which puts a large amount of stress on joints, especially the back and knees. To alleviate this problem in young growing bodies, a proper dance floor is essential. This is composed of a sprung floor under the top surface that absorbs the shock of landing jumps. For safety, the top floor should be composed of a vinyl composite that allows dancers to be able to slide as required, but not to slip and fall.
Dance Essence has a sprung floor in both studios, covered with a vinyl composite dance floor to ensure the safety of our dancers.

Small Class Sizes

Our small class sizes ensure that our young dancers have the personalized attention they require. This allows the teacher to make sure that new concepts and skills are understood by the dancers. Teachers have more time to give constructive corrections and ensure they are implemented correctly. There is more dancing and less waiting for their turn. From a safety perspective, teachers are able to monitor movements of the children in class. Dance Essence is committed to keeping class

Communication

Dance Essence offers office services while classes are in session. Registration, payment of fees or questions regarding costumes or scheduling can all be addressed while your child is in class. For queries at any other time, a message can be left on the office phone, or an email sent to the studio address.
Communication is the key. Any problems or concerns should be reported immediately to be addressed as quickly as possible.
