Ms. Nicole RAD RTS

Nicole has been in love with dance since her very first ballet class at age 2. Growing up, Nicole danced competitively from the age of 6 to 17, competing in various styles including; ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and contemporary. She studied ballet through the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, successfully completing her Advanced 2 examination with distinction. Nicole attended professional ballet programs at The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School as well as The Quinte Ballet School of Canada.

Throughout her time in secondary school, Nicole took part in three different High School Project productions at the Grand Theatre; performing in Footloose, My Fair Lady & Legally Blonde. During Legally Blonde and My Fair Lady, she was cast as the dance captain, giving her the opportunity to work alongside, and learn, from nationally renowned choreographers and industry professionals. Nicole received her Diploma in Dance Teaching Studies from The University of Bath, and is a member of The Royal Academy of Dance with Registered Teacher Status.

Nicole strives to create a fun and positive learning environment for all of her students, while encouraging them to explore their creativity and safely develop their classical technique. She hopes that her students feel a sense of accomplishment and pride for the things they achieve from all of their hard work in the studio. Nicole is a passionate teacher, who is very excited to continue to watch the Dance Essence dancers grow this season.
