Lauren began dancing at the age of 12 at Dance Pointe (now Dance Essence). Just a year later, she was invited to join the competitive team, where she trained in acro, ballet, and jazz, and grew her love of performing and training. Between her own classes, she assisted whenever she could, gaining early experience in leadership and teaching.

In high school, Lauren choreographed for both opening and closing acts of talent shows, as well as for Seussical the Musical. After graduating from both dance and high school, she pursued a career in hairdressing and now owns a successful hairstyling business. She enjoys using her creativity from that field and bringing it into the dance classroom.

Years later, when her daughter was old enough to begin dancing, Lauren returned to Dance Essence, taking adult acro classes while her daughter joined the competitive team. Lauren has been assisting classes for several years and is now proud to be teaching the Aylmer acro classes, along with a few in St. Thomas. She continues to train by taking adult ballet classes and loves sharing her passion for dance with the next generation.
