
Kennedy started her dance career at the age of 2 at Studio Dance Pointe and became a part of the Company at the age of 6. Kennedy has trained in jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, acro, musical theatre, ballet and pointe. She was part of the original transition from Dance Pointe to the Dance Essence company team at the age of 13 and continued her dance journey until she was 18. She has been fortunate enough to teach at Dance Essence as a student teacher for the past 4 years as well as coordinating and teaching the summer camps since 2023. She has worked with many talented teachers and choreographers in audition classes at Dance Canada Finals, as well as many workshops and convention classes. Kennedy has won many overall awards along with special awards and dance scholarships over her years as a competitive dancer. In addition, she has been recognized for her leadership in numerous ways including the Port Stanley Optimist Citizen Recognition Award along with multiple academic achievements. Kennedy is now attending Kings University College for her Honours in Childhood and Youth Studies. She is thrilled to be a part of the Dance Essence family for another season!
