Lauren is a creative spirit with a passion for ballet. She discovered her love for dancing at the young age of 4, and danced competitively since she was 5. Lauren has been trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, acrobatics, lyrical, tap, aerial silks and contemporary arts. She has attended and trained at multiple ballet workshops, and specialized summer intensives over the years. Lauren has won many special awards, overall awards and dance scholarships. She has danced and performed in The Nutcracker Christmas Productions with Ballet Jorgen, and the School of Cadence Ballet. Lauren attained her Advanced 2 RAD ballet exam through her studies.
In addition, Lauren has been recognized for a number of leadership awards for her contributions to the community – including a City of St. Thomas Youth Award from the mayor and council.
Lauren is excited about being a part of the Dance Essence team and sharing her love of dance with everyone.
