Amber began her dance training at Tiffany’s Dance Elite in Hamilton, ON at the age of 9. Her skills quickly excelled, allowing her to further her training at the National Ballet School, where she studied from the age of 11 until high school, and allowed her to perform in the NBS annual Nutcracker performance. Amber was also accepted to and attended the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School at the age of 14.
She then returned to the competitive dance industry where she was able to work with the industries top instructors such as Tiffany Mchlaughlan, Shannon Mather, Wade Robson, Mia Michaels, Dee Caspery, Mark Meismer, Mikeal Knight, Brian Friedman, Mandy Moore, and Blake Mcgrath (as her duet partner). Amber has won numerous overall awards and scholarships all over Canada and the United States, and performed in many shows such as the Contessa awards and the annual Aids Benefit fundraiser.
While attending the University of Western Ontario, she was also member of Huron Heat, one of the University’s top dance teams. Amber then took her dance training to a professional level where she performed for Royal Caribbean Cruise lines and expanded her talents to train in Aerial Arts as well.
She was the head coach for Studio Dance Pointe (now Dance Essence) for over 10 years and brought back her training and experience to her students. Amber is committed to teaching and enjoys watching her students develop into strong dancers and move into careers of their own.
